About the artist
Tallahassee Artist Sherri DeLane is a Florida native who prefers to spend most of her time exploring our local great outdoors. Her style is influenced by classic French Impressionists, Surrealism and Line Art. She combines a mastery of color, composition, and technical skill to create artwork inspired by Circus, Femmes, Steampunk and Florida Heritage.
Her hand-burnished curio boxes and oil paintings often feature images of nature and travel. Sherri’s love of The Forgotten Coast, St Marks, and our local festivals is clear in her glowing Coastal Poster Series of hand-drawn pen and ink illustrations. Sherri is a graduate of Ringling College of Design in Sarasota and she has shown in over 30 exhibitions nationally, including Tampa, Nashville, Atlanta, Austin, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Detroit, and Tallahassee.
